Denis Leary and Ray Romano both appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present)
It tells the story of three completely different families who compete for the right to buy the same villa in the Spanish style of the 1920s, which, in their opinion, will solve all their problems. If you look at this show through the prism of the narrative, the parts do not fit together.
There were many false leads
We dive so deeply into each character’s backstory that the overall story doesn’t feel strong enough to stay on track. In the end, everything comes together.
It would definitely be stronger without the ensemble
There are many familiar faces, so I understand why they did it. There were some weak characters, both in writing and performance.
The best part, by far
Some of the others seemed to struggle with the balance of comedy and drama. I think it’s time for Netflix to give Linda Cardellini her own show.
