Winter Moon Rising Written by Michael Alan Levine & amp; Samuel B
When Mathieu receives a call from the theater director whose production he left, the director is voiced by the film director himself, Stéphane Brizé. Levine.
Guillaume Canet and Alba Rorwacher are a well-acted duo whose chemistry was essential for the film to work
This French film, directed by Stéphane Brizé, is a sensitive drama/romance in which old lovers meet again at a different stage in their lives. I am a little torn because the film has a very subtle depiction of their (re)union, and it is true with moments of subtle humor and enjoyable acting.
However, the film is painfully slow, emotionally austere, and runs for almost two hours longer than would have made it a more effective film
For example, there is a wedding scene where two men "sing" (whistles) like birds among themselves, talking quite eloquently and magnetically – would watch this kick-off. Brizé’s constructions and long takes are beautiful but rather sterile, as are the inner lives of his sick characters, which are aptly depicted.
