The prequel to the original Dune tells the story of how the Roszak Brotherhood evolved into the Bene Gesserit. The case of Valya Harkonnen’s voice acting in the film ‘Mentats of Dune’; All three books relate to the development of the Sisterhood, the Mentatis, the Navigators, and the Suk Doctors.

Honestly, the whole time I was watching the show, I felt like it belonged on the SyFy channel. I’ve heard that you have to read the book to understand this series, and maybe that’s why.
Unfortunately, this falls into the category of recent shows like Rings of Power (which I would argue is actually better)
The story doesn’t seem rich or interesting (because everything around me was distracting me and that’s what happens when I lose my concentration). While you could say the production value is huge, it just doesn’t seem to belong on MAX, especially with their other huge hits.
