Instead, the viewer is forced to watch 35 hours of action that, by today’s standards, seems simply silly and ineffective, or nothing at all
Seriously, in 3.5 hours, it would be possible to tell the whole story with all the points of view and explanations that are obviously available.
And then another 10 minutes that explain nothing
The average shot feels like it lasts 10 minutes, 10 minutes, during which nothing is explained.
and to the triumphant end
It is up to the viewer to provide explanations for what is happening.
