Chronology
Two girls go missing. The police recruit Paul Chartier, who joins an undercover unit tracking a sex offender. After the operation falters, Chartier pursues the culprits on his own, frustrated by legal constraints. Features Nosferatu, symphony of the strave (1922). So we watched it in French with Dutch subtitles. I don’t understand French and it’s obvious that my Dutch isn’t good enough for these topics. I also don’t know much about pedophiles and the police system in Belgium, which happened in the 90s. Is it a good movie? Not for me. It seemed to be a movie that followed some police officer who was working on a missing children case. He seems young and has a good memory when he remembers the number 21 sign after an incident with another police department. Although he is quite emotional and loses his temper a lot. All the characters seem quite incompetent. It’s just hard for me to follow. I won’t add anything more so as not to spoil it for you.
