Chronology
An agnostic sex podcaster and a newly single rabbi fall in love; find out if their relationship can survive very different lives and interfering families. Originally titled Shiksa, which is also the last word spoken in the first episode. I really enjoyed it! Romantic comedies always follow the same formula, but this one has a lot going for it – + I FELT the chemistry between the leads. It looked natural and harmonious. They played the characters so well! + Dialogue and character relationships seemed funny, witty and touching at best. + In a world where representation is promoted, this is the first time I’ve seen Jewish love. I think it showed the beautiful and comprehensive aspects of religion without putting it on a pedestal in any way. Great writing, great acting, and incredible chemistry made this an incredible watch for me, and I quickly found myself searching for “Is there a season 2?”. I loved it!
